Chemistry provides the history, method and approach for analytically addressing questions about a substance's behavior (reactivity) under different conditions. As a result, Chemistry introduces a student to an entirely new paradigm of how the reality we experience is supported by a heretofore invisible precursor. The knowledge embodied in Chemistry allows a student to enter this realm, draw parallels (derive a fundamental relationship) to their own world and understand the very nature of Biology, Physics and Astronomy.
